Petrobras' Prolific Pre-Salt Wells Now Pumping Half A Million Barrels Of Oil Per Day

Tthe company has been able to ramp up oil production from 0 to over 500,000 barrels per day in just 8 years after the first pre-salt discovery in 2006. Just to give some perspective, it took Petrobras 31 years from the time it was founded in 1953 to ramp-up its total production rate to the same level.
